Day 045: Creating

We are so ready to welcome summer by creating some beautiful decorations!

Today the idea is refresh something old by simple means. Reuse, repurpose and refurbish are always great principles in design. We were somehow missing some summer and spring feeling to our lighting fixture and thought that we could upgrade the design with a very simple mean by shaping a lot of small flowers from colourful stiffer paper and connecting them with some thread. You may decide to colour as you wish. We were some how longing for some spring and summer colours and thought this colour combination could be very nice. You can use the same basic base for another activity to create a flower mobile. It is also a beautiful decoration on the window or somewhere where you can look at the movement from underneath it. By the way these little flowers create shadows that are dancing in the daylight. The feeling of the lampshade becomes almost like midsummer flower field. Have fun and relax. This is a very nice activity to be made as well in a bigger team. How about collaborating with your parents of siblings?
