Day 015: Light and colours

Today we are observing how light and colours work together. We shall make a little decorative object that is highlighting the effect nicely.

1. Firstly you would need some white and coloured paper. Rather thicker paper works better. If you do not happen to have it home, you can also colour or paint some thicker paper or flexible cardboard with your favourite colours. By the way brighter colours are making the light effect stronger!

2. Then we need to cut two thin stripes from the paper. Try to make it as straight as possible. There is a nice challenge for you maybe!

3. Now we need to clue the coloured and white paper/cardboard together. Notice that it is good to leave the coloured paper a little bit shorter so that it is easier to fix the ends together.

4. Now we shall connect the end and make circle.

5. Let’s fix a short string that helps to hang it on the wall. Maybe you do not need it if you have a hook on the wall.
