Day 018: Same but different?

How colours react on different surfaces? Is the expression different on a rough surface compared to a very smooth surface? How about shadows do they change the feeling as well? Today we shall start the activity by heading out first.

1. Let’s observe what kind of shapes and surfaces we can find outside? Make sure that you are free to take things with you. What did you find?

2. Once back home, let’s find the paints first. Acrylic colours are good for this purpose.

3. Let’s choose one colour and let’s paint everything unicoloured.

4. Do you see any differences in colours if you compare different surfaces, shapes and materials? What kind of observations can you make?

5. Keep the things in a safe place. We shall need them in the near future when we are exploring some spatial stuff!
